    REPRODUCTION WW 2 US Army and Air Force, "Private Purchase" Officer's cap eagle.
    Stamped gold colored metal with, screw back post.
    Private purchase is non standard, this version is larger then issue item.  The eagle is larger and bolder, usually worn by pilots, I'm not saying pilots have an ego.........BUT.......
    Very common for Officer's to switch to this version to show that they had been around.
