    Description

For sale is my 1985 BMW E23 728i. The car is originally purchased in Germany by a Us army soldier.
Later his BMW specialized shop ( who fixed the car regularly ) bought it from him.
I got this car 3 years ago and drove it approximately 500 miles/ year. I got all 3 original keys, all the papers and even his deposit slip when he ordered the car. I also have the original first aid kit and all the tools.
I change oil every spring and put new gas in it, I only drive it in the summer and park it in my friend storage in the winter season.
The car is a European E23. The engine already has the newer Bosch injection system. It is exactly the same engine that is sold here in the USA in the E28 and E34. Last year I installed a new fuel pump as well.
Slight surface rust sat the bottom of front right fender (hardly noticeable), not any undercarriage rust at all!  The windshield and the dash have a crack. ABS is not working because the front left ABS sensor is bad. No leaks at all.
The car drives and shifts really nice. The engine sounds great and the clutch feel great as well. No strange noises just a perfect ride.
Every person who has driven the car was really impressed about that.
The paint job is good but not immaculate, don't forget this is an almost 40 year old car!!!
The auto ac switches work but need to hold the switch in order to work a simple cleaning would fix, needs sealing around the rear light, all plastic parts in the trunk I just don`t wanted to put them back without fixing seal first. Its garage kept in the mean time.
The odometer stopped working around 2 years ago, but because I'm not drive it too much, I didn't fix it. Could use new set of tires on it as well. I`m selling as is. This is a really rare opportunity to own a European version E23, with a 5 speed manual tranny.
