    Description

    This is a handsome patch. Current reproduction. It measures 4 ½” in size and full color with excellent detail. Similar styles were worn by the WWII Women’s Auxiliary Service Pilot’s. These women trained as ferry pilot’s to free up pilots for combat duty. During WWII the WASPS delivered 12,650 aircraft to depots. There were a total of 1074 WASP pilots. The training was difficult and many were cut from the program. Truly a special group. This would make a great flying jacket patch or flight suit patch. Priced to sell.
